10 Quick and Easy Pakistani Summer Drinks Recipes

This year the summer is too hot to handle around Pakistan, as we all are burning with scorching heat, the temperature is above 40 in some of the areas of Pakistan. In such a hot weather it is very important to keep your body cool and hydrated. But those drinks that are available in the market in packaged form are either unhealthy fizzy drinks or unhealthy fruit juices that have little or no fruit and a lot of sugar or other such unhealthy drinks that are wrongly sold as “healthy drinks”.

So in trying to stay hydrated people often drink drinks that are too unhealthy for them. Which is why it is extremely important to drink healthy and natural drinks to keep oneself hydrated. I know people think that making healthy fruit drinks at home is a chore and takes a lot of time and effort, so this is exactly why I have decided to make a post on ten Pakistani summers drink which will keep your hydrated and at the same time give you energy and keep you cool, while being extremely quick and easy to make. Mint Lemonade

Mint Lemonade

Ingredients: Water half letre or 2 glass, Lemon 2,  mint 2 tbsp chopped, Sugar 3 tbsp, black salt (kala nanak) half tsp, Ice 5-6 Cubes.

Recipe: Put all ingredients in the blender and blend it well.

 

Fresh Falsa Sharbat/Juice/ Drink

Falsa Juice Sherbet, Falsa Drink

Ingredients: Water half letre or 2 glass, fresh Falsa 2 cup , sugar 3 tbsp, black salt (kala nanak) half tsp, Ice 5-6 Cubes.

Recipe: Blend falsa and water well, sieve the mixture well, pour sieved juice into the clean blender again, put sugar, salt and ice and blend it well.

 

Fresh Watermelon Sharbat/Juice/ Drink

Fresh Watermelon Juice

Ingredients: Water half letre or 2 glass, freshly cut watermelon cubes 2 cups or 200 g, sugar 3 tbsp, Ice 6-7 Cubes.

Recipe: Put all ingredients in the blender and blend it well.

 

Fresh Cherry Sharbat/Juice/ Drink

Fresh Cherry Juice

Ingredients: Water half letre or 2 glass, fresh deseeded cherries 1 full cup, sugar 3 tbsp, Ice 6-7 Cubes.

Recipe: Put all ingredients in the blender and blend it well.

 

Fresh Peach Sharbat/Juice/ Drink

Fresh Peach Juice

Ingredients: Water half letre or 2 glass, fresh deseeded peach 3-4, sugar 3 tbsp, Ice 6-7 Cubes.

Recipe: Put all ingredients in the blender and blend it well.

 

Sattu (roasted gram powder) Drink/ Sharbat

Sattu (roasted gram powder) Drink/ Sharbat

Ingredients: Water half letre or 2 glass, Sattu 2 tbsp, sugar 3 tbsp, Ice 6-7 Cubes.

Recipe: Put all ingredients in the jug and mix it well.

 

Tukhmalanga (Basil seeds) and Jam e Shirin Sharbat

Ingredients: Water half letre or 2 glass, Tukhmalanga 1 tbps, Jam e Shirin 5-6 tbsp or according to taste

Ice Cubes 5-6.

Recipe: Clean tukhmalanga, soak it in 1 cup water for half an hour. Pour all the ingredients in a jug and mix it well.

 

Fresh Imli (Tamarind) Sharbat/Juice/ Drink

Fresh Imli (Tamarind) Sharbat

Ingredients: Water half letre or 2 glass, imli 1 cup, sugar 3 tbsp, black salt half tsp, Ice 6-7 Cubes.

Recipe: Soak imli in 2 glass of water over night in a fridge or at least for 4-5 hours, sieve the mixture, pour the mixture, sugar, black salt and ice Cubes in a blender and blend it well.

 

Mint Margarita

Mint Margarita

Ingredients: Sprite 500 ml, mint freshly chopped 2 tbsp, black salt half tsp, ice cube 5-6.

Recipe: Pour all the ingredients into the blender and blend it well. (be careful with the salt as it bubbles up.

 

Fresh Alo Bukhara (plum) Sharbat/Juice/ Drink

Fresh Alo Bukhara (plum) Sharbat

Ingredients: Water half letre or 2 glass, fresh deseeded plum 5-6, sugar 3 tbsp, Ice 6-7 Cubes.

Recipe: Put all ingredients in the blender and blend it well.
